The “Orson Welles: Warrior of the Worlds” campaign is off to a fantastic start. First week in the books, and we’re at 74% of our funding goal. Many many thanks to all of you who have pledged money and/or shared the link on social media.
Yesterday I received the first PROOF of the book - a physical copy to evaluate the printing quality. It’s not 100% representative of what the final book will be like—colors, paper, binding will all be different, but this at least gives us a first glimpse.
I’ve also received some test samples of the METAL PRINTS to be included in some pledge levels. Here’s a couple of images of those print previews:
Although we’re off to a great start, like most campaigns, we’ve reached the mid-campaign stall-out/plateau:
I’ve got a few exciting podcast appearances lined up soon, so hopefully those promotional activities will help boost the campaign during its middle phase.
Remember - we’ve got a stretch goal - if we exceed our goal and hit $7.5k, we will also make a DELUXE HARDCOVER EDITION available.
